PENNY THOUGHTS

As some of you may know, in the last year Angela’s husband, Paul Cantelon, and I have been putting together all the necessary bits to launch a foundation in Angela’s name with a view to archiving and protecting all of her work as well as creating a legacy award, with The Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, in Angela’s memory.
There will be more news of all that to follow in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, here is an astonishing song that Angela recorded a few years ago that somehow fell through the cracks. I think Angela was focusing on her health at the time and whatever plans we had to release it where shelved. Until now.

The song was written by Duke McVinnie and Exene Cervenka and it is with their blessing that we release this song now.

Penny Thoughts is free to download, but if you wish to donate please know that all the monies go to her husband and the fledgling funding of Angela’s foundation.

Much love to all and thank you. Long live Angela.

SWEET RELIEF

Today is the release of Randy Newman’s ‘I Think it’s Going to Rain Today’, Angela and Paul’s remarkable contribution to the latest Sweet Relief Musicians Fund compilation album ‘We Can Help’ produced by Sheldon Gomberg.

What on earth would we do and who on earth would we be without the sanctuary of music and the company of the musicians who create it.

The Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing physical or mental health issues, disability, or age-related problems.

BETWEEN OURSELVES

“Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything.”—C.S. Lewis

Please open your ears and hearts to this new release from the late, great, Angela McCluskey. Produced by Dan Sammartano, Between Ourselves is now available everywhere on everything.

Angela’s mix of compassion, humility, fearlessness and forgiveness made us all better people….

"This haunting song lifts our spirit until we soar in the way only Angela’s voice knows how.“
